Popular small screen actor Ziaul Farooq Apurba has been accused of embezzling money and cheating the schedule by violating the contract, the production company Alpha Eye Studios Limited (Alpha Eye).
He signed a contract from the company for 24 dramas for 50 lakhs. However, Alpha I complained that he stopped all communication with 33 lakh taka after working in only 9 dramas.
According to the agreement of Shahriar Shakeel, the owner of the company, Apoorwa is supposed to complete the shooting of dramas by giving three days every month. The plays were supposed to be completed in October last year. But he broke Alpha Eye's contract without completing the rest of the plays.
In this incident, actor Apurba defended himself and said that the allegations are not true. The event is intentional. Allegations of misappropriation of money are defamatory to him. I am a long time well known performer. An artist like me is being implicated in dirty false allegations like embezzlement, which is very sad.
However, producer Shahriar Shakeel said that their journey with Apurba has lasted for more than one and a half years. Because of that relationship, they signed a contract for shooting 24 dramas together in 2022. As opposed to shooting in 24 dramas, Apurva took Tk 33 lakh including Tk 25 lakh in advance and Tk 9 lakh after shooting 9. After another 10 months passed, he did not give the schedule to the producer.
Apurba finally said in this incident, I do not want to comment on the matter. Because the matter has gone through the legal process and my organization Abhinachili Sangh is looking into the matter.
