Two Bangladeshis were reported injured in firing by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at Shikaria border in Kulaura, Moulvibazar. The incident happened on Sunday (March 17) around 2 pm in the Shikaria border area of ​​Prithimpasha Union of the upazila. The injured are Parvez Hossain Saddam (15) son of Ashkir Ali of Murichhara new slum area of ​​Kulaura Upazila of Moulvibazar and Chiddikur Rahman alias Chiddek Ali (30) son of Chadek Ali of the same area. The matter was confirmed by Prithimpasha Union Parishad (UP) member of Ward number 9. Shaheen Mia. He said the BSF personnel fired at Saddam and Siddiqui. Later, they captured Saddam who was shot and is undergoing treatment at Siddique District Sadar Hospital. However, it is not clear why the BSF opened fire on them. BGB-46 battalion commander Lt. Col. Mizanur Rahman Shikder's mobile phone was tried several times but could not be contacted. Kulaura Police Inspector (Investigation) Kishainyu said that Saddam and Chiddiq went to Shikaria border area around 2 pm. At this time, BSF personnel opened fire on them. Both were injured and Saddam was captured by them. Later, locals found Siddique who was shot and rescued him and sent him to the hospital.
