Police has arrested Sohail Siraj, the owner of 'Kacchi Bhai' restaurant. He was arrested from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Tuesday night.

He has been abroad since the fire incident at Bailey Road in the capital. As soon as he returned yesterday, he was arrested by the immigration police of the airport.

Additional Superintendent of Police of CID Media Department Azad Rahman confirmed the matter on Wednesday (May 8).

It is known that he was handed over to the CID after the immigration police arrested him. Later he was brought to CIC from there.

CID SI Nizamuddin Fakir said that the owner of Kachchi Bhai, Sohail Siraj, has been arrested. He is an accused in a case filed in connection with the Bailey Road fire. However, he was absconding since the incident.

He also said that he was sent to court on Wednesday morning. Later, CID filed a five-day remand application for the remand of Sohail Siraj. After the hearing, the court granted his two-day remand.
