The anti-discrimination student movement started the public relief program from August 22 at Dhaka University's TSC to help the flood victims. So far 11 crore 10 lakh cash has been deposited. Apart from this, various relief items have arrived.

Abdul Quader, coordinator of anti-discrimination student movement, gave this information at a press conference at TSC on Wednesday (September 4) evening.

He said that from August 22 to September 4, 11 crore 10 lakh 13 thousand 569 taka has been collected in TSC.

This coordinator said that although the relief was able to reach the flood-affected areas in the beginning, it was not possible to distribute it everywhere. There were problems in reaching relief due to various reasons including lack of transport. But we tried.

Abdul Quader said that rehabilitation of affected people is the next activity of anti-discrimination student movement.
