On this day, the King of the country and the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting of Bangladesh stayed in the southern Gelefu city of Bhutan. During his stay there, the King of Bhutan toured Gelefu City to the Minister of State for Information of Bangladesh. Plans to build a peaceful, eco-friendly iconic city there.
Later on Friday (March 29) morning, the Minister of State for Information arrived at the country's Paro International Airport with the King of Bhutan by air from Gelafu City. They were welcomed at the airport by Prime Minister of Bhutan Tshering Tobge and Ambassador of Bangladesh to Bhutan Shivnath Roy. Later, the King of Bhutan and Ali Arafat went to the capital Thimphu.
Minister of State for Information is scheduled to return home on Sunday (March 31) afternoon after his visit to Bhutan.
