This time a missile attack was launched from Lebanon to Israel. According to a report by Al Jazeera, six missiles were fired from the southern part of Lebanon towards the northern part of Israel. According to a report, air raid sirens have been activated in northern Israel.

Before this, Israel was attacked by hundreds of missiles and drones from Iran. Last Saturday (April 13) Iran launched an unprecedented attack targeting Israel with more than 300 drones and missiles.

Tehran said this action was taken in response to the recent attack on the Iranian consulate in the Syrian capital Damascus that killed 13 people. Immediately after the April 1 attack in Damascus, they announced a severe retaliation.

But Israel, the United States and its allies shot down almost all of the missiles and drones involved in the attack on Saturday night before they could reach their targets. Israel claimed to have shot down 99 percent of Iran's drone-missiles. However, this attack has created a fear that the conflict in the Middle East will spread more widely. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been under pressure since the attack by Iran. Pressure is mounting on how to respond to Iran's attacks at home and abroad. All in all, a very complicated situation has been created.

The pressure on Netanyahu is increasing from various countries including the United States, Britain, and Germany. At the same time, those who put him in power from within his coalition government are currently increasing pressure on him. They want a direct and strong response against Iran. That is why Netanyahu must take his next steps very carefully. Israel may show 'limited' response to Iran's drone and missile attacks. In that case, Israeli forces could attack Iranian-backed forces outside of Iran.
