China says the US should stick to its limits. In no way should China's interests get in the way.

This is how Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi warned US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken at the meeting of the top diplomats of the two countries in Beijing on Friday (April 26). BBC news.

Wang drew the line on US intervention. He called it the 'red line'. He said that the United States should not step on this red line. In other words, he explained the area of China's sovereignty, security and development. So that the United States does not turn its nose to these things.


From the beginning of the meeting, he was speaking in sharp language. His words had a threatening tone. He said first, what should China and the United States do? Should we move forward with stability or return to uncontrolled bad relationships?


He said, China-US relations have started to stabilize. But it is still being verified with negative issues. Both countries can cooperate or clash. It may even lead to direct conflict.

China's foreign minister said the negative aspects of the US-China relationship are still growing and growing. The relationship is facing all kinds of obstacles.

He said China's legitimate development rights have been unreasonably suppressed and our core interests have been challenged.

Wang did not specify these challenges. But there are several sensitive points between the two superpowers, including their position in the South China Sea, US support for the government in Taiwan, military aid to Taiwan and human rights issues.

China claims autonomous Taiwan as a breakaway province. China wants it to remain under Beijing's control. However, the residents of the island consider Taiwan a separate state. The US is accused of inciting them.

Apart from this, China is also unhappy with the US action against TikTok.

The recent Iran-Israel conflict has also made the Sino-US divide clear. Meanwhile, Blinken visited China for the second time in less than a year.

Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken also spoke about the meeting. He expressed hope for progress in ending the differences between the US and China.

At the start of the meeting with Wang Yi, Blinken said he would be "very clear, very direct."

He also said, "I hope that we will advance some of the things that our presidents have agreed on."
