Anyone posting anything anti-Israel on social media in Saudi Arabia is being arrested. Influential US media outlet Bloomberg reported that many people have already been arrested for speaking out against Israel. The media reported this information in a report on Thursday (May 2).
However, the report did not clearly state how many people were arrested.

One of those arrested for expressing anti-Israel sentiments is a top company official. The company is reportedly working on a project for Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The official wrote on social media about the ongoing Hamas-Israeli war in Gaza, a source said on condition of anonymity.
Another was arrested for calling for a boycott of American-owned companies' products.
Most of the world's Muslim countries are calling for a boycott of the products of Israeli and American companies. Many companies are forced to wind up their business due to this boycott.
A source in the Saudi government told Bloomberg that there is concern that a pro-Iranian influence could spread to Saudi Arabia. And from this apprehension these persons have been arrested.
However, the Saudi government has repeatedly said that it is not possible to establish diplomatic relations with Israel until an independent Palestinian state is established.
But after seeing recent events, many analysts think that Crown Prince Salman is changing his position on the Middle East under the influence of the United States.
