As a result, to save the country and to protect the highest interests of the country, a difficult decision has to be taken to dissolve the parliament.

All political parties are illegal in Kuwait. That is why there is no party candidate in the election. Candidates stood for election as independent. The National Assembly (Parliament) consists of 50 elected members. After that, Amir appointed 16 people from those 50 people as ministers.
