UNESCO did not give Yunus the 'Tree of Peace' award: Education Minister

Received the Nobel Peace Prize. Chairman of Bangladesh UNESCO Commission Education Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury has said that Muhammad Yunus has not been given any award named 'Tree of Peace' by UNESCO.

At the same time, action will be taken against Yunus Center if they do not stop spreading false information about the UNESCO award, he said.

He said these things while talking to reporters in the meeting room of the secretariat on Wednesday (March 27).

The Education Minister said that the information being disseminated by the Yunus Center about the UNESCO award is fraudulent. An explanation will be sent to the UNESCO headquarters in this regard
