State Minister of Labor and Employment Nazrul Islam Chowdhury said that all the workers will be given their dues before the Eid-ul-Fitr holiday.

He said these things in front of the journalists in the meeting room of the ministry on Wednesday (March 27).

Nazrul Islam Chowdhury said, there was a talk with the owner. They agreed. Festival allowance, salary of all workers including clothes made before Eid will be paid.

Nazrul Islam said that it has been decided to give Eid holidays in stages based on the discussion.

Earlier, the state minister had spoken to the journalist on March 20. At that time he also said that before the Eid holiday, the garment workers will be given the salary and Eid bonus for the current month of March.

He also said that the factories will not be able to lay off any workers before Eid. Besides, before the Eid holiday, the garment workers will have to pay March salary and festival allowance.
