Clocks in Europe will move forward one hour from today

In European countries, the clocks will go forward one hour from Sunday (March 31). Basically, the clocks in the European Union countries are moved forward by one hour on the last Sunday of March every year. Which is known as Daylight Saving Time (DST). This is done for more use of daylight in offices and other places.

Clocks will return to normal time again on Sunday, October 27. In the United States and Canada, the clocks have been moved forward one hour since March 10.

Meanwhile, the European Union took an initiative in 2019 to cancel the clock that is changed every year. But even after five years it has not been resolved. The European Union has not even started formal discussions on the matter.

Over the past few years, Brexit, the Covid-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war have further complicated the issue. And it is almost certain that the issue will not be resolved soon.

According to European Union law, DST begins on the last Sunday of March. And it ends on the last Sunday of October. However, European countries Russia, Iceland and Belarus do not use the DST system.

The clock is ticking in war-torn Ukraine. However, in the areas of Ukraine occupied by Russia, everything goes according to normal time.
