Sheikh Abdullatif Al Sheikh, Minister of Call and Guidance of Islamic Affairs of Saudi Arabia, has ordered the Eid-ul-Fitr prayer to be performed 15 minutes after sunrise.
In a report on Sunday (March 31), the Saudi Gazette reported that Saudi Arabia ordered Eid prayers to be held 15 minutes after sunrise according to the Umm al-Qura calendar. The Minister of Islamic Affairs and Guidance has issued an instruction in this regard to the ministries of different regions of the country.
According to the notification sent by the ministry, Eid-ul-Fitr prayers will be offered in open fields as well as in all mosques and mosque-adjacent places.
In addition, the notification has highlighted the importance of making preliminary preparations for Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at designated places and mosques by ensuring maintenance, cleanliness and other necessary services. So that the worshipers can fully perform their rituals with ease.
Preparations will be made to see the Eid moon on April 9 in all countries of the Middle East including Saudi Arabia. Ramadan is 29 or 30 days depending on the moon sighting of the month of Shawwal. Happy Eid is celebrated on the first day of the month of Shawwal.
