Record price of gold, 1 lakh 15 thousand 824 taka

Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has announced the increase in the price of gold. A maximum of 1750 rupees has been increased per charge. As a result, the price of good quality i.e. 22 carat gold is 1 lakh 15 thousand 824 taka. This is the highest price of gold in the market of the country. So far the price of which was 1 lakh 14 thousand 74 taka.

 

This information was informed in a press release signed by Masudur Rahman, Chairman of the Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee of Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) on Saturday (April 6). According to Bajus, the price of acidic gold has increased in the local market. The new price of gold has been fixed keeping in view the overall situation. The notification also informed that the new price will be implemented from Sunday (April 7).

According to the new price, the best quality or 22 carat (11.664 grams) gold is priced at Tk 1 lakh 15 thousand 824, 21 carat gold is priced at Tk 1 lakh 10 thousand 575, 18 carat is priced at Tk 94 thousand 770 and traditional method gold It will be sold for 78 thousand 965 taka. The price of gold has been increased but the price of silver has been kept unchanged. According to the category, currently the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka, 21 carat is 2 thousand 6 taka, 18 carat is 1715 taka and the price of traditional silver is 1 thousand 283 taka. Earlier, Bajus had reduced the price of gold on March 21. Which came into effect on March 22.

According to that price, the best quality or 22 carat gold sold at Tk 1 lakh 14 thousand 74, 21 carat gold at Tk 1 lakh 8 thousand 883, 18 carat gold at Tk 93 thousand 312 and traditional method gold at Tk 7 thousand 799.
