Who is this Ashutosh storming the IPL?

The top order of Punjab Kings collapsed like a house of cards against Mumbai Indians last night. But Ashutosh Sharma fought even standing in the rubble. He won the match by scoring 61 runs off 28 balls. Although he could not win the match in the end, this batsman won the hearts of cricket fans.

Even the captain of the opposition team Hardik Pandya praised him. He said, 'Ashutosh is great. It is not easy to play like that on the field. He played almost every ball between the bats. Ashutosh was very clear about what he wanted to do. I like it.

Ashutosh has been seen playing such innings before. Syed Mushtaq Ali broke Yuvraj Singh's record for fastest fifty in T20I competition. Ashutosh scored a fifty off just 11 balls for Railways against Arunachal Pradesh. He hit 1 four and 8 sixes. In the end, Ashutosh got out after scoring 53 runs off 12 balls.

25-year-old Ashutosh used to play for Madhya Pradesh. He played only one List A match against Rajasthan in 2019. He joined Railways from Madhya Pradesh in 2023-24 due to lack of opportunity. Ashutosh played 10 T20 matches for Railways. Scored 289 runs.

Ashutosh pointed the finger at Chandrakant Pandit for not getting a chance for Madhya Pradesh. Who is now the coach of Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL. Pandit is the coach of Madhya Pradesh in domestic cricket. Though Ashutosh did not take his name.

He said, 'I used to go back to my hotel room straight from the gym. I was slowly going into depression. No one was telling me what I did wrong. A new coach arrived in Madhya Pradesh. No one in the team would have got a chance if he didn't like it. I scored 90 runs off 45 balls in the warm-up match. Even after that I was not taken into the team.
