"Israel will have to pay a heavy price if it attacks again"

This time, Iran threatened to take the highest level of measures against Israel. Hossein Amir-Abdullahian, the country's foreign minister, said that if Israel attacks Iran again or acts against Tehran's interests, we will immediately respond at the highest level.

The Iranian Foreign Minister made such comments in an interview given to the American media NBC News on Friday (April 19).

Amir-Abdullahian said that if Israel retaliates and acts against Iran's interests, Tehran's next response will be harsh. If Israel dares again, it will not be too late for us to respond at the highest level.

He told NBC News that the drone attack took place in the central Iranian city of Isfahan in the early hours of Friday (April 19). The Iranian foreign minister claimed that the drones were not carried out by Israel, but by "infiltrators". The drones were launched from inside Iran and shot down after flying a few hundred meters.

Amir-Abdullahian said, these are not drones; An object like a toy. Our children play with such things. And we have not yet found any evidence of Israel's involvement with these. The matter is under investigation.

Meanwhile, Iran has also warned that Israel will suffer dire consequences if any attack is made on Iran's nuclear facilities. Moreover, if something like this happens, Tehran has announced to change the nuclear policy.

The IRGC, which oversees the security of Iran's nuclear program, claims that if there is any attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, Tehran will revise its nuclear policy if necessary. Israel's nuclear facilities will be retaliated against.

In the meantime, the Revolutionary Guard has also claimed to collect information about the location of secret bases in Tel Aviv. Tehran has also said that Iran is fully prepared for any kind of response. Analysts urged all parties to exercise restraint in such a situation. If not, they fear that this conflict may turn to nuclear war.

On April 1, Israel attacked the Iranian consulate building in Damascus, the capital of Syria. Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, the senior commander of Quds Force, the elite wing of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), was killed in the attack.

Iran launched hundreds of drone and missile attacks on Israel in retaliation for the attack on Damascus. Then on Friday (April 19), the United States announced Israel's missile attack on Iran. The tension between Tel Aviv and Tehran has been going on for more than a week.
