A terrible fire has occurred in Chaumuhni of Begumganj, the commercial city of Noakhali. 6 fire service units are working to extinguish the fire. On Sunday (April 21), the fire took place in the market on Badamtala road of Bara Masjid at around 7:40 pm.

He said that two units of Senbagh and Choumuhani Fire Service immediately started working to extinguish the fire after receiving the information about the fire. Later, a total of 6 units of fire service, including Sonaimuri and Maijdi, are struggling to put out the fire even after trying for about an hour. The fire is still not under control. The extent of the damage and the cause of the fire will be known after the investigation.

Chaumuhani Bazaar businessman Fayaz Uddin Ifti told Dhaka Post that the fire started from the goldsmith's shop next to the big mosque. Even after more than an hour, the fire service could not extinguish the fire. Hundreds of shops were burnt down in the fire.
