Last Friday (April 19) voting was held throughout the day for the election of the Bangladesh Film Artists Association. Then on Saturday (April 20) morning, the election results were announced. Where actor Monowar Hossain Dipzal was elected as general secretary after defeating actress Nipun.
For the first time since the election, Dipzal entered the Shilpi Samiti at FDC on Sunday (April 21) afternoon. Wherever he went, he announced to provide free treatment to artists two days a week.
Dipzol said, "Our first task is to provide free medical services to artists. After 23rd (April 23rd) the doctor will come to the association two days a week. We will provide free medicine as well as free treatment to artistes. This is our first task. After that, I will do the rest of the work in phases, Inshallah.
Meanwhile, actor Misha Saudagar, elected as president, said, 'After 23rd, we will pay tribute by placing wreaths on the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibar. After that, I will work with the three winners from the other panel. Besides, sitting with other organizations of the film, we will complete the work in stages. Inshallah.

9 people have been elected from Misha-Dipzal Parishad as executive members. They are — Sucharita (228), Rozina (243), Aliraj (239), Subrata (216), Dilara Yasmin (218), Shahnoor (245), Nana Shah (210), Ratna Kabir (263) and Chunnu (248). . Voting started at 9:30 AM in the office of Shilpi Samiti of FDC last Friday amid tight security and ended at 6:20 PM. According to the Election Commission sources, 475 votes were counted out of 570 votes.
