Moderate to intense heat waves are sweeping across the country including the capital Dhaka. In this situation, the Meteorological Department has issued a heat alert stating that this heatwave will continue for the next 72 hours or three days.
This information was informed in a message signed by meteorologist Bazlur Rashid on Monday (April 22).
It has been said that the ongoing heatwave over the country may continue for the next 72 hours from today. Due to excess water vapor in the air, the discomfort of public life may increase.
Earlier, a three-day heat alert was issued by the Meteorological Department for the first time due to severe heat wave on April 19.
What is a hit alert?
A heat wave is an extremely hot weather. And the warning issued about this heat wave is basically heat alert or heat wave alert. If the heat wave increases to an extreme level, there is also a fear of more major natural disasters. Besides, it can cause death if it goes beyond human tolerance.
