In Barguna's Taltali, a case has been filed against 4 people including the upazila Awami League president under the Organized Rape and Pornography Act. The defendants in the case are Taltali Upazila Awami League President. Rezbi-ul Kabir Jomaddar, Nishanbaria Union Parishad Chairman Dr. Kamruzzaman Bachchu, Pachakodalia Union Parishad Chairman Abdur Razzak Howladar and Upazila Chhatra League former general secretary Minhajul Abedin Mithu.

On Wednesday (May 8), the victim's father filed the case as a plaintiff in the Barguna Women and Child Abuse Prevention Tribunal.

According to the source of the case, Nishanbaria Union Parishad Chairman of Taltali Upazila. Kamruzzaman Bachchu Mia fell in love with the plaintiff's daughter's mobile phone. At one point, Chairman Bachchu indulged in physical relations with the lure of marriage. But later the chairman started insisting on not marrying her.

Later, if the victim applied pressure for marriage, the chairman gave her a stamp saying that he would marry her and started living as husband and wife in different places. At this time, the chairman secretly took pictures on his mobile phone. By threatening to spread that picture on social media, accused No. 2 of the case Pacchakodalia Union Parishad Chairman Abdur Razzak Hawladar also forced to have physical relations. Chairman Razzak raped her multiple times and she also kept the pictures on her mobile phone.

Later Taltali Upazila Awami League President Upazila Parishad Chairman Md. Rezbi-ul Kabir Jomaddar also blackmailed the victim and forced him to have physical relations. He threatened to kill him if he did not listen to him. Being helpless, the victim was forced to have sexual relations with Upazila Parishad Chairman Rezbi-ul Kabir Jomaddar. To escape from them, the rape victim threatened to file a rape case against them.

After receiving such news, the three chairmen and the general secretary of the Chhatra League filed a case against the rape under the Reverse Pornography Act. DB police arrested him in that case. Currently, the victim in that case is in jail.

In this incident, the victim's father said Taltali Upazila Parishad Chairman Md. Rezbi-ul Kabir Jomaddar, Nishanbaria Union Parishad Chairman Dr. Kamruzzaman Bachchu and Pachankodalia Union Parishad Chairman Abdur Razzak Howladar and Chhatra League former General Secretary Minhajul Abedin filed a case under the gang rape and pornography act.
