30810 people arrived in Saudi to perform Hajj

 


30 thousand 810 pilgrims have arrived in Saudi to perform the holy Hajj so far (May 20 at 2:59 p.m.). They reached Saudi Arabia by a total of 77 flights. Among them, 3 thousand 747 people are under government management and 27 thousand 63 people are pilgrims under private management. So far 82 thousand 565 visas have been issued.

This information has been given in the latest bulletin related to Hajj. Airlines, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Hajj Office Dhaka and Saudi Arabia have informed this information on helpdesk.


According to helpdesk information, out of 77 flights, Biman Bangladesh Airlines operated 32 flights, Saudi Airlines 25 and Flinus Airlines 20.

After the start of the Hajj flight, the visa issue of 82 thousand 565 Hajj pilgrims has been delayed till midnight last night. Last Saturday (May 18). An 89-year-old pilgrim named Mustafa died in Mecca. Before this, he became the first Bangladeshi in Saudi Arabia in the current Hajj season on May 15. A pilgrim named Asaduzzaman died. He died in Medina.

Earlier, on May 9, the first dedicated flight of Bangladesh Airlines departed for Saudi Arabia with 415 pilgrims. With this, the official journey of this year's Hajj begins. It will end on June 10.

85 thousand 117 people will go to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj with guides under government and private management. Among them, 4 thousand 323 people have officially registered. And 78 thousand 895 people registered privately. 1,899 pilgrims will be accompanied by one guide for every 44 people.

Hajj may be held on June 16 subject to sighting of the moon in Saudi Arabia. The number of Hajj agencies participating in Hajj activities is 259. Hajj flights started on May 9. The last Hajj flight is June 10. The first return flight of pilgrims is on June 20 and the last return flight is on July 22.
