Bangladesh's first T20 World Cup warm-up match against USA has been called off due to inclement weather. This has been confirmed by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

A tornado hit Dallas with a speed of 80 km/h on Tuesday morning local time. It was accompanied by torrential rain. The temporary big screen at Grand Prairie Stadium was shattered. The match was canceled as the field could not be prepared and played.

BCB said in a message that Bangladesh's first summer match against USA has been postponed due to inclement weather and insufficient facilities to conduct the match.

The Bangladesh team will play a warm-up match against India on June 1. The Tigers will start their World Cup journey with a match against Sri Lanka on June 8.
