Bangladesh Awami League has announced a 3-day program on the occasion of its founding anniversary.
The announcement was made by party general secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Monday (June 10) at the Dhanmondi Awami League President Sheikh Hasina's political office in an exchange meeting with members of parliament from Dhaka Metropolitan North-South and Dhaka Districts and mayors of Dhaka North-South City Corporation.
He said, Awami League will invite all registered political parties on the foundation anniversary. Obaidul Quader, General Secretary of the party and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges said that it does not matter who the opponent is.
Obaidul Quader said that various important meetings are being held during the Prime Minister's visit to India, the details of the meeting will be known later. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will talk to the media after her visit to India.
He said, this is the 75th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Awami League when it is getting ready to build a smart Bangladesh after Digital Bangladesh.
Speaking about the party's 75th founding anniversary program, Awami League General Secretary said, the three-day founding anniversary will be celebrated in all the unions and wards of the country.
A rally will be held from Engineers Institution to Dhanmondi 32 Bangabandhu Bhavan at 3 o'clock on 21st. Bangabandhu's daughter Awami League president Sheikh Hasina will auspiciously inaugurate the platinum birth anniversary in front of Bangabandhu Bhavan on 23rd.
On 23rd at 3 pm there will be a discussion meeting and a cultural program at the beginning of the day at Sohravoryadi Udyan. Apart from this, on the occasion of the foundation anniversary, a cultural program will be held at Rabindra Sarovar in the capital, a boat ride and a bicycle rally will be held at Hatirjheel. The founding anniversary of Awami League will be observed across the country.
