Educational institutions are going on a 17-day holiday

On the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha and summer vacation, the country's educational institutions are going on a 17-day vacation. This holiday will start from next Thursday (June 13) and end on June 29. The notice of this holiday has already been pulled in various educational institutions of the capital.

It is said that there will be 17 days of class vacation from June 13 to June 29 on the occasion of summer vacation and holy Eid-ul-Azha. Half-day classes will continue as usual from June 30. However, full day classes will continue from July 1.

Heads of educational institutions said that the summer vacation is usually in June. Since it has been coordinated with the Eid-ul-Azhar holiday. Although this vacation was supposed to be a normal month, the school was closed for quite some time due to winter and intense heat this year. So the summer vacation has been shortened a bit. However, if the school authorities want, they can separate Eid vacation and summer vacation.

When asked, Director of Secondary and Higher Education Department (Secondary) Professor Syed Zafar Ali said, "We have different ideas about summer vacation." However, since the Eid holiday will start from next Thursday, for the time being, any organization can offer summer vacation in coordination with the Eid holiday. Any changes regarding summer vacation will be notified later.

Mohammad Eman Hossain, principal of Ideal School and College in the capital, said that Eid and summer vacations have been given according to the curriculum. But if there is any change in the holiday by Govt then it will be revised.
