The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) seized six Brahma cows from the farm of Sadiq Agro located in Mohammadpur Beribandh area of ​​the capital. The cows were seized in the operation conducted on Wednesday.

Earlier, the ACC raided the Central Cow Breeding and Dairy Farm in Savar, Dhaka last Monday, accusing Sadiq Agro of giving special benefits. That day ACC Assistant Director Abul Kalam Azad said that in 2021 Sadiq Agro's Imran Hossain created a commotion by bringing 18 American Brahma cows to Bangladesh. However, since the import of Brahma breed of cows is prohibited, they were seized by Dhaka Customs. The cows are housed at the Central Cattle Breeding and Dairy Farm at Savar through the Department of Livestock. Later the cows mysteriously moved to Imran's Sadiq Agro.

It should be noted that recently Imran Hossain charged the price of a goat to 15 lakh taka.
