Royal farewell after 35 years of Imamate, received a gift of lakhs of taka

Imam Maulana of Chanchkod Kacharipara Jame Masjid in Gurdaspur, Natore. Motaleb Hossain (72) was given a royal farewell by the locals through various arrangements and receptions.

 

On Friday (July 12) in Kacharipara Mohalla of the municipality, the local people are busy with various arrangements to see off the imam from the morning. After 35 years of imam, Imam Motaleb Hossain was moved to tears by the love of the worshippers.

 

 

A horse-drawn carriage was arranged to see off the Imam. Meals for at least 1,000 worshipers were arranged. After noon Friday prayers, the 72-year-old imam was taken by the hands of the local people in a horse carriage. He apologized for his mistake to the present devotees and locals for the last time before getting into the horse carriage.

 

The locals took him to the imam's house in Chalnali village five kilometers away with a fleet of at least two hundred motorcycles behind the horse carriage. Ex-President of Municipal Awami League Md. gave 100,000 taka to outgoing Imam Motaleb Hossain on behalf of local residents. Shamsul Haque Sheikh.

 

 

 

Chairman of the mosque committee. Amjad Hossain said, Imam is the leader of society. Those imams are not given the respect they deserve anywhere. The arrangements by which the imam was sent off by the initiative of the local people and their tireless efforts will be remembered. Let the worshipers of every area take such an initiative.
