A fire has occurred in a residential building in Dhanmondi of the capital. 6 fire service units are working to control the fire. The fire service received information about the fire at 10:25 am on Wednesday (21 August).

Confirming the matter, the duty officer of the control room of the fire service, Lima Khanom, said that at 10:25 this morning, we received the news that there was a fire on the 8th floor of a 12-storey residential building in Dhanmondi-5/A. We have 6 units working on the spot to control the fire.

He said that initially the cause of the fire and the amount of damage was not known. So far 3 trapped people have been rescued with injuries.
