HERE ARE THE NEW FACES JOINING AS ADVISERS TODAY

Dr. Five new people have been called to the advisory council of the interim government led by Muhammad Yunus.

 

These five people will take oath at Bangabhaban on Sunday (November 10) at 7 pm. Among them, film director Mustafa Saryar Faruqi, Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor Mahfuz Alam, Professor Md. Saidur Rahman and businessman Sheikh Bashir Uddin.

 

The new advisers are scheduled to be sworn in at Bangabhaban this Sunday evening. The four have been confirmed to be invited to be sworn in as new advisers.

 

Professor Md. Sayedur Rahman was appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) on August 27. Now from there he is being taken to the advisory council. Md. Syedur Rahman is a professor in the department of pharmacology at BSMMU.

 

 

Sheikh Bashir Uddin is the Managing Director of Akiz-Bashir Group, the country's leading industrial conglomerate. He is the son of Sheikh Akiz Uddin.

 

Mostafa Sarayer Farooqui is a famous filmmaker. Over the decades, he has become a well-known face by producing films and plays.

 

Apart from this, former Inspector General of Police Khoda Bux Chowdhury is joining the interim government as Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser, a source said.
