Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) came up with the first Test squad after the ODI series. Two new faces have been called up for the Whites match against Sri Lanka.

The BCB announced the squad for the first of the two-match Test series on Monday (March 18). Two new face pacers Mushfiq Hasan and Nahid Rana in the 16 man squad led by Nazmul Hossain Shanta.

Meanwhile, Liton Das returned to the team for the Test series despite being dropped from the team for the third and final one-dayer against Sri Lanka due to lack of form. Although Zakir Hasan, Sadman Islam and Mahmudul Hasan Joyra are there, Nurul Hasan Sohan has been dropped from the white team.

The first Test of the two-match series will be held at the Sylhet International Stadium on March 22. After a three-day break, the two teams will return to Chittagong again in the final Test.

Earlier, Bangladesh won the three-match ODI series in the Chittagong phase by 2-1. In the series deciding match on Monday (March 18) the Lankans were defeated by 4 wickets by Shanta Bahini. BCB announced the white team before the match was over.
