Khalid, vocalist of popular music artist Chaim Band, has passed away (Innalillahi Wainna Ilaihi Raziun). He died of a heart attack on Monday (March 18) at 7:15 pm. He was 56 years old at the time of his death.

Lyricist and composer Prince Mahmud confirmed the news of Khalid's death. He told the media that shortly after seven o'clock in the evening, Khalid Bhai left. We are deeply saddened by his death.

Khalid gained tremendous popularity by singing all the popular songs in the eighties and nineties. He was the vocalist of the band 'Chime'.

Many popular songs like 'Sarlatat Pratima', 'Jatata Megh Hala Bristhi Nae', 'Kon Prabhi Perano Gale Na Take', 'Hayni Jabaro Bela', 'If Himalaya Hye Duk Aane', 'Tumi Nei Tai' have been sung in the hearts of people. Khalid took the place.

Khalid was born in Gopalganj. He entered the world of music in 1981.
