Awami League announced the party expenses for the 12th parliamentary elections

Awami League has spent 2 crore 76 lakh 78 thousand 120 taka in the 12th national parliament election held at the beginning of this year. Election Commission (EC) Secretary Md. After submitting the party's expenses to Jahangir Alam, the party's treasurer HN Ashiqur Rahman informed the reporters.

The treasurer of Awami League said, "We could have spent up to 4.5 million taka." But we have limited spending. This year, the party spent 2 crore 76 lakh 78 thousand 120 taka across Bangladesh.

Ashiqur Rahman said, 'When there is a public meeting in a district, those who go to that district, there are leaders, there are candidates. Because they also give something, the cost is reduced. Where the other team takes 10 rupees. We need 2 rupees there. Because the loyalty of the party is spent from different quarters, this cost is reduced.

He said, "Expenses must be paid within 90 days (in EC). Awami League always operates according to the rules. Spend according to the rules and deposit it on time according to the law.'
