The chamber court did not lift the bail suspension of Hafsa Akhtar, who was arrested in the case of sabotage on the charge of exploding cocktails in the court premises centered on BNP's general meeting on October 28. April 22 has been fixed for the hearing in the regular bench of the Appellate Division.

Former Attorney General AJ Mohammad Ali heard on behalf of Hafsa Akhtar in the court. Barrister Kaiser Kamal assisted him.


During the hearing, senior advocate AJ Muhammad Ali sought bail for the welfare of Hafsa Akhtar's two children. He said, Hafsa Akhtar's child Noori is 4 years old. Another child is a little older than him. Their father is also absconding. No one to take care of the children. Besides, in the case in which he is under arrest, the police did not issue the charge sheet even after four and a half months.

At this time, the court said, we are proceeding with the hearing of the bail application by partially granting your application. The matter will be heard in the regular bench of the Appellate Division on April 22.

Then lawyer AJ Muhammad Ali said, thinking about the children, Hafsa can grant bail to Akhtar. Otherwise send the children to jail too.

Then Additional Attorney General for the state opposed the bail of SM Munir and said that there is evidence in the video footage that Hafsa Akhtar exploded the cocktail.

After the hearing, the court fixed April 22 for hearing in the regular bench of the Appellate Division.

On October 28, child Noori came to the discussion crying for her mother, who was arrested in the case of sabotage on the charge of exploding a cocktail in the court premises during the mass gathering. The child's mother, Hafsa Akhtar, was appealed to the chamber court on March 31 to lift the suspension of bail. His lawyer Barrister Kaiser Kamal filed the appeal.

On March 10, the chamber court suspended the bail of child Noori's mother, Hafsa Akhtar. Appellate Division Chamber Justice M Inayetur Rahim's court gave this order.

Earlier, the High Court granted bail to Hafsa Akhtar on March 6. Justice Md. The High Court bench of Ruhul Quddus and Justice AKM Rabiul Hasan gave the order.

Barrister Kaiser Kamal and Advocate Maqsud Ullah heard the bail application in the court that day. Deputy Attorney General Shaheen Ahmed Khan heard for the state.

Earlier, the four-year-old child Noorjahan Noori came to the High Court seeking the bail of Hafsa Akhtar, who was in human chain for the release of her mother. On March 4, Justice Md. A High Court bench of Ruhul Quddus and Justice AKM Rabiul Hasan heard his bail plea.

Before this, a report was published in the newspaper on November 23 last year under the title 'Nuri's tears are not answered'.

According to the report, some came with lap babies, some came with unintelligent children, and some came with grandchildren. Old fathers, mothers, wives, brothers and sisters have also come. Some of them have tears in their eyes, placards in some hands, banners in some hands. They stood in a human chain in front of the press club and demanded the release of their relatives.

Two stupid children, Barsha and Noori, came from the old Dhaka of the capital, holding the hands of their grandparents.
