Badda police recovered the dead body of a young man named Robin (29) floating in the capital's Hatirjheel lake.

On Saturday (April 20) the body of the young man was recovered from under the bridge behind the Hatirjheel Police Plaza after receiving a 999 call. Badda police station officer-in-charge (OC) Yasin Gazi confirmed the matter. He said that people saw the body floating under the bridge in the morning and reported to 999.

Later Hatirjheel police went to the spot. At first the name of the young man was not found. Later his name was identified with the help of technology. The name of the deceased youth is Robin. Initially we did not find any injury marks on his body.

Robin's house is in Khulshi Thana area of Chittagong district. His father's name is Abdus Sattar. He said that the exact cause of death will be known after the autopsy report.
