The Zimbabwe cricket team is coming to Bangladesh on April 28 to play a five-match Twenty20 series. BCB has not announced the squad for the upcoming series though. But before that, the Super League round of Dhaka Premier League (DPL) is going to be played from tomorrow (Monday). And Shakib Al Hasan's team Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi will enter the field on the opening day, although he is currently not in the country.

That's why Nurul Hasan Sohan's team is not getting their star cricketer even in the first match of the Super League. Shakib is still staying in America with his family. But when he will return to the country, it is not sure yet. There are rumors that Shakib may return to the country on April 24. However, Sheikh Jamal's coach Sohel Islam could not confirm that either.

However, Sheikh Jamal's head coach hopes to get Shakib in the Super League. Sohail said that Shakib is talking to the team management, he is trying to play. As such, we are hoping to get Shakib in the second match of the Super League on April 25.

Meanwhile, the fitness test of the national team cricketers was held yesterday (Saturday) before the announcement of the team against Zimbabwe. A total of 35 cricketers participated in this fitness test. Shakib Al Hasan, Soumya Sarkar, Taijul Islam and Taskin Ahmed did not join despite the names of 39 cricketers. However, these cricketers have the opportunity to give fitness test later.
