The burial of four members of the same family who were killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a private car in Habiganj's Madhavpur has been completed.
On Friday (May 3) at 10:30 a.m. in Boalia village of Galachipa upazila of Patuakhali, the deceased were buried in the family graveyard after the funeral in the courtyard of their house.
Earlier, a mournful atmosphere was created when the body was brought home from Habiganj to Boalia at 6 am.
Jamal Hossain's cousin Md. Ferdous said that he wanted to visit Shah Jalal's (RA) shrine in Sylhet with his family for a long time. Accordingly, Jamal Hossain went to Sylhet on the night of April 30 with his wife Kamrun Nahar, son Kawshar Hossain Antar and younger brother Enamul Haque Khokon. Stayed in Sylhet all day on May 1 and left for Dhaka at night. They were last spoken to by family members after 10 pm. And the accident was reported around 2 am.
Chairman of Galachipa UP. Jahangir Hossain Titu said that when the bodies of four people arrived home from Habiganj at 6 am on Friday, a sad atmosphere was created there. Four graves were excavated side by side in the family cemetery next to the house. After the funeral of Jamal Hossain, Enamul Haque Khokon and Kawshar Hossain Antar at 10:30 in the morning, the second phase of Kamrun Nahar's funeral was held. Later they were buried.
The deceased Jamal and Khokon are sons of Moujali Mridha of Boalia village of Galachipa Sadar Union. Jamal Hossain was working as an electrician in-charge in an organization in Savar, Dhaka, and younger brother Enamul Haque was working as a senior swing operator in a garment factory in Khokon area.
