Dhaka University (DU) is returning to physical classes and examinations as before as the intensity of heat has decreased across the country.

This information was informed in a press release signed by Mahmud Alam, Director of Public Relations Department of Dhaka University on Monday (May 6).

The notification informed that the classes and examinations of Dhaka University will be held in person as usual from May 8 (Wednesday) as the intense heat wave going on across the country has reached a bearable level.

University Vice-Chancellor Professor ASM Maqsood Kamal approved this decision on Monday, it was said in the circular.

Earlier, on April 21, Dhaka University decided to hold 100% online classes for an indefinite period to avoid health risks due to heat wave.
