The students of Qaumi Madrasa protested against the firing on the students during the anti-discrimination student movement. They took part in the protest after Friday prayers at Baitul Mukarram Mosque on Friday (August 2).

Qaumi students came with a procession from Baitul Mukarram via Paltan to Shahbagh. When it reached Shahbagh, the police stopped the procession.

Expressing solidarity with the program called by the anti-discrimination movement, Qawmi students gathered in front of the National Press Club. At this time, the law and order forces were seen to be on high alert.

But before this Qaumi students went to Shahbagh with a procession from Baitul Mokarram. On the way back from there, they held a rally in front of the Press Club expressing solidarity with the agitators of the DU and the Combined Cultural Council.

Meanwhile, thousands of students marched across the country, including Dhaka, to protest the shooting of students and several demands, including the trial of student murder.
