The Meteorological Department has said that temporary gusts or gusty winds with a maximum speed of 60 km per hour may occur over 8 regions of the country. This information was given in the weather forecast for the country's inland river ports till 1 pm on Saturday (August 24).

It has been said that there may be temporary gusty or gusty wind with rain or thunder over Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and Sylhet regions from south southwest direction at a speed of 45 to 60 km per hour.

The river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
