Israel launched a direct attack on Iran for the first time in history. The attack, which took place a couple of days ago, is being seen as a revenge attack for the ongoing tensions between the two countries over the past few weeks.
However, Israel has yet to officially claim responsibility for the drone attack on Iran. But Iran's leaders have dismissed the attack as trivial, petty and childish.

Even Israel's drones are 'like children's toys', Iran's foreign minister said. On Sunday (April 21), this information was reported by the British media The Independent.
According to the media, Iran's foreign minister virtually dismissed the suspected limited military strike by Israel last Friday. He claimed that it was "not an attack" and refused to admit that Israel was involved in the attack.
Hossein Amir-Abdullahian told NBC News, "We have not been proven to have any connection between this attack and Israel." These were not drones, they were like toys that our children play with.'
Meanwhile, an Israeli official said, they were only intended to convince Iran that Israel has the ability to strike targets inside Iran.
The attack was originally seen targeting an Iranian air force base near the deep-central city of Isfahan last Friday, but the Israeli drone did not hit any strategic locations or cause any major damage.

Meanwhile, an airstrike hit a command post of the Popular Mobilization Force (PMF), a pro-Iranian security force in Iraq. Last Friday, the attack took place at the Kalso military base, about 50 kilometers from the capital Baghdad.
An airstrike on the Kalso military base killed one PMF fighter and wounded six others, two officials at a hospital in the nearby town of Hilla said.
Two security sources said it was not known who was responsible for the airstrikes. Besides, a US official said, there was no US military activity in Iraq at that time.
