BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia was immediately taken to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the hospital due to her deteriorating physical condition. He will be kept in CCU for treatment and tests. He was taken to Evercare Hospital in the capital on Saturday (March 30) around 3 pm.

Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP Chairperson's media wing said, Madam reached the hospital at 3 pm. His treatment has started.

Shamsuddin Didar, another member of the Chairperson's media wing, said that the madam was taken to the emergency room on arrival at the hospital.

According to several sources present at the hospital, Khaleda Zia was taken directly to the CCU after reaching the hospital. Doctors have decided to keep him in CCU due to complications of his old disease liver cirrhosis.

Earlier, the doctors of the medical board formed to treat Khaleda Zia visited Khaleda Zia's residence in Gulshan on Saturday night.

Then Shamsuddin Didar, a member of BNP Chairperson's media wing, said that Khaleda Zia will be taken to Evercare Hospital in the capital shortly for some urgent health tests and treatment.

Earlier, on March 27, BNP informed that Khaleda Zia would be taken to the hospital that night for examination due to her deteriorating physical condition. But Khaleda Zia's medical board doctor at around 12 that night. Zahid Hossain told the media, 'Madam Khaleda Zia felt ill around noon. After that, doctors conducted several tests on him. As he felt better at night, he will be treated at home instead of hospital.

However, if necessary, Khaleda Zia can be taken to the hospital at any time, said Dr. Zahid.

Later on March 28 at noon, BNP Chairperson's media wing member Shayrul Kabir Khan said that Khaleda Zia's doctor Dr. Talked to Zahid Hossain. He said, madam is fine now. He is receiving treatment at home under the supervision of the medical board.

Since Khaleda Zia went to jail on February 8, 2018, her illness has been in flux. During the corona epidemic, he returned home after being released conditionally by the executive order of the government on March 25, 2020. Then went to the hospital several times. Finally, in the middle of last year, his physical condition deteriorated. Since then he has received treatment from the hospital several times.

Finally, Khaleda Zia was taken to the hospital for a health check-up on March 13. The next day on the night of March 14, he was brought home from the hospital.
