He addressed the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected mayors and five district council chairmen of Mymensingh and Comilla City Corporation at the Prime Minister's Tejgaon office on Thursday (April 4) morning.

Addressing the public representatives, Sheikh Hasina said that development should be done by maintaining the trend of change. The quality of work should be maintained. Promises made to the people must be kept. We must stand by the people by continuing the process of socio-economic development; Wetlands cannot be mortgaged; Rivers and canals and canals should be preserved. Work should be done keeping people's trust and faith. Then don't worry about voting time; People will vote anyway; A vote costs a lot.
