Primary schools are returning to normal operations from Tuesday (May 7). After almost two weeks of closure due to severe heat wave, primary school education activities are returning to normal.
The matter was informed in a circular signed by Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin, Senior Information Officer of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education on Monday (May 6).

According to the notification, from Tuesday, all activities including class activities of all government primary schools, primary schools of Shishu Kalyan Trust and learning centers of non-formal education bureau will continue according to the calendar of the academic year 2024.
Primary schools were reopened on April 28 after being closed for a week due to arson. However, class hours are reduced and assemblies (daily gatherings) are closed.
