Prime Minister wants to send Jyoti to Australia for training

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina regularly keeps track of the country's sports arena. He kept the news that Australian women cricketers are on a tour of Bangladesh. Partly due to the interest of the tourists and partly due to the Prime Minister's encouragement, women cricketers from Bangladesh and Australia went to Ganobhaban today. He met the Prime Minister.

Cricketers of Australia and Bangladesh women's teams met the Prime Minister at Ganabhaban today (Wednesday) at noon. BCB President and Sports Minister Nazmul Hasan Papon and BCB Women's Division Chairman Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel were present along with the cricketers. Australia's Acting High Commissioner to Bangladesh Nardia Simpson was also present.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister said about sending Tigress women cricketers to Australia for training. Shafiul Alam Nadel, chairman of women's department, confirmed the matter to Dhaka Post.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina met the women cricketers of Australia and Bangladesh.
He said, 'The Prime Minister has encouraged the cricketers. And he said with a smile that he will send you to Australia, go there and train. Went there and talked about the practice.'


Australia is strong in women's cricket as well as men's. Not one two or three, a record 7 in ODIs and six times world champion in T20 Aussie girls. For the first time, those champions have entered Bangladesh to play a bilateral series. That is why this series was at the center of everyone's interest.


Nigar Sultana Jyoti, captain of the Tigress women's team, accompanied the Prime Minister.
However, the series against the world champions did not go well for the hosts. After the whitewash in the three-match ODI series, Nigar Sultana Jyoti's team has also won the T20 series. The two teams will meet in the third and final T20 on April 4.
