Erdogan and Biden are expected to discuss a range of issues, including Israel's war, defense cooperation and the fight against terrorism. Relations between the two countries have deteriorated in recent years.
Ankara has long criticized the US position on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Washington's unconditional support for the Netanyahu administration in particular.
The meeting is expected to discuss the purchase of F-16 fighter jets from the United States and the modernization process of the jets that Turkey has already purchased. Also on the agenda could be Turkey's frustration with US support for the YPG, the Syrian branch of the PKK terror group, which has killed thousands of people in Turkey over the past four decades.
