He also said that in the first phase, TCB is distributing these 5 products - rice, dal, edible oil, sugar and gram - at affordable prices to one crore card holder families across the country. In the second phase, rice, pulses, edible oil, sugar, chickpeas and dates - these 6 products are being distributed to cardholder families in Dhaka and surrounding areas. And on the occasion of Eid, the government has given a special allocation of 1 lakh 628 metric tons of rice to 1 crore 62 thousand 800 families across the country. Each family will get 10 kg of rice for free. Awami League and all its affiliated organizations are distributing Iftar items among the poor and needy up to the grass root level.
